I’m no fashion guru, but like most Flossie women, I know what I like and this month, these are a few of my favourite things…

2: Tahitian Gardenia candle by Sohum Cosmetics, $AU45.00 from Bathing Beauty
While in Melbourne recently I visited one of the Sohum stores - what a treat! I indulged in a hand massage and walked out with this divine scented candle! Even without lighting it, the scent brightens up my day!

3: L’Oréal Paris Extra-Volume Collagene Mascara, $34.99, from L’Oréal stockists
I can’t rate this mascara highly enough - gorgeous luscious lashes every time!

4: Knappa pendant lamp in white, $AU40.00 from Ikea
I finally checked out IKEA while in Australia and was in love with all the great home goodies you could pick up for excellent prices - including this lampshade for a cool forty! Hurry up and reach our shores IKEA!

5: Country Grace Vest (in store April 6), $129.00 from Max.co.nz
You should see the latest gear from Max - deevine! I especially loved this waistcoat, complete with ribbons! Stunning!

6: Anitque Kimono zaishu, $AU325.00 from Hardtofind.com.au
If you were inspired by Julia’s guide to art, then you’ll probably also love the zaishu stool/table/art piece. A great gift.

7: Holly in Purple, $168.00 from Mollini
My obsession for all things purple continues with these dainty numbers - and a little bit of ruffle thrown in for good measure!

I will own a black tutu/petticoat skirt by the end of winter. I will! This option from Samvara would be perfect! I want!

10: Microsoft Arc Mouse in frost white (also in red and black), $99.00, from Microsoft stockists
I’m in love with my Arc mouse - so easy to use and it travels well wherever I go. Is it wrong to also want the white one that’s released in May?

11: M.A.C. Hello Kitty collection, starting from $24.00 from selected M.A.C. stores and counters
Tres cute! Did you know Hello Kitty doesn’t have a mouth because she speaks from the heart! You’ll have to get to a M.A.C. counter quickly to snaffle up some of the limited edition Hello Kitty products on offer including lipstick, lip glass, eye shadow, pigment and nail lacquer!

12: OPI ‘Done out in Deco’ nail varnish, $24.90
nzgirl editor Ramarea put me on to this great colour - and already four Flossie staffers have been seen sporting this lilac shade on their talons.

My hunt for a handbag continues - but I think I’m getting closer with this split personality offering from iboutique. And it’s purple…
